Pittsburgh, PA - Equitable Utilities, a division of Pittsburgh-based energy provider Equitable Resources (EQT), contracted Edgeworth, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based human-capital consulting firm, to design a customized program to help its operations personnel better understand how to drive economic value for the company in daily activities.

Edgeworth created a fully customized game-based program in which employees, over the course of several sessions, "played to learn" about how Equitable Utilities operates from a financial standpoint, thus enabling them to enhance the bottom-line profitability of their organization.
