Pittsburgh, PA - Optika, Inc., a Colorado Springs-based software firm, contracted with Edgeworth, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based human-capital consulting firm, to aid its sales personnel in quantifying the impact their solutions provide to their customers. Part of the program includes engaging the sales staff in a strategic, hands-on learning experience in the form of a board game which plays out a typical customer's financial cycle. The primary objectives of the program will be to create an understanding of how businesses operate to produce profits; to identify the value drivers in any business and to show how these drivers act as leverage points that determine business success and profitability.
Armed with this increased business acumen, Optika's sales personnel are better prepared to reach their target audiences, CFOs or CEOs and more able to identify and communicate the economic reasons for working together.
