Pittsburgh, PA - Wawa, the Wawa, Pennsylvania-headquartered chain of food markets, contracted Edgeworth, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based human-capital consulting firm, to develop and implement a customized program designed to educate Wawa associates on the fundamentals of the business in order to help them run their individual locations more profitably.

Edgeworth delivered a customized game-based program that engaged employees in a hands-on learning experience, challenging teams of associates to compete for the best Return on Equity. Selected Wawa associates were instructed in the facilitation of the program to enable them to include this learning experience in their company's employee training program.
